So you are a beginner and you want to know everything about the guitar from the ground up? Or you have been playing for a few years and want to grow into an even better player?

Why drive yourself or your kids to some music shop when you can take lessons from the comfort of your own home? Save gas and time while diving into the world of guitar in a fun and casual manner with a professional, highly experienced teacher.

These are not pre-recorded lessons. This is a real lesson, with a real person with whom you can ask questions and interact. In these lessons, I can:

  • teach you how to read sheet music and tablature
  • help you to understand the confusion that is music theory
  • help you with chords and chord progressions
  • teach you to play your favorite songs and figure them out for yourself
  • help you become a good improviser
  • teach you how to play solos
  • help you with song writing
  • help to expand your technical ability
  • ... and MUCH more!

How does this work?

Send an email to lessons@andrewsmusiccorner.com or fill out the form below, and we agree on a day and time for the lesson. Lessons are pre-paid using PayPal*.

  • $30 for a 45 minute lesson or $110 for 4, 45 minute lessons
  • Don't have 45 minutes or you just want review / focus on one aspect for a bit? Try an "express lesson" (Recommended for students under 12)
  • $20 for a 25 minute "express" lesson or $75 for 4, 25 minute lessons
  • College students receive a 10% discount, but must have a valid .edu email address

The lessons can be used whenever you wish. For example, we can do one lesson this week, then the next lessons in 3 weeks, then the next lessons two weeks after, etc. It's up to you. The schedule is left flexible so that you can get the most out of the lessons and time in between to work on the material. Plus, I don't charge for missed lessons, we'll simply reschedule.

What do I need for my computer?

First, you need a webcam with a built-in mic or a separate mic.

Second, you will need a Skype account. Skype is a communication program allowing for voice and/or video conferencing with anyone else who has Skype. Skype is free and you can find it at www.skype.com.

Also, make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Reader (also free) so you can view .pdf files containing sheet music / tabs / chords and other material for you to study.

That's it!
